The LUXEON HR30 LED addresses the need for dependable lighting that will operate in hazardous environments (such as chemical plants, power generation facilities and natatoriums) and be able to withstand extremes of temperature and operating current. The LUXEON HR30 claims to be the only LED in its class to provide a service life in the 100,000 hour range while withstanding corrosive elements like sulfur and chlorine.

The LED’s chemical resistance is partially attributed to the device’s gold-plated leadframe and its optimized materials package. The LUXEON HR30 has demonstrated reliable performance in chemical resistance tests such as IEC68-2-43 (15 ppm): DLOP < 10%, Du’v’ < 0.006 after 21 days.

The LUXEON HR30 produces 125 lumens at 134 lm/W when driven at 150 mA at 4000K and 70 CRI. The LED is available at color temperatures of 4000K, 5000K and 5700K at 70 CRI and 2700K, 3000K, 4000K and 5700K at 80 CRI.
