Mid-power MultiCat connectors in 8- and 20-circuit versions
This connectors system provides superior durability and can be mated quickly and ensures proper connection via connector position assurance, making it effective in multiple industry categories. This new connector system offers a lightweight and compact wire-to-wire or wire-to-board configuration; a UL1977 finger-test-certified receptacle; an operating temperature from -40 to +150˚C; a two-piece hermaphroditic back shell; a visual connector position assurance feature that allows users to check that the connector is properly engaged and two keying options. The mid-power version also offers low contact resistance and solid mass contact. The MultiCat High-Power and Mid-Power Connector Systems provide connector position assurance and a positive lock that are activated by hand, making it easy to mate and unmate.
