Mini ITX board features 8th-generation Intel processors
Typical applications for the MSC C6B-CFLH modules are devices that generate large amounts of data and need to be processed by the processor, e.g. in medical technology, visualisation systems, analysis and measurement devices, industrial control systems, industrial 4.0 applications and gaming systems. Further applications can be found in video surveillance, transmission technology, streaming/broadcasting and in media production.
The MSC C6B-CFLH module with Intel Core i3 (“Coffee Lake”) and 6 MB cache offers configurable Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 35 W and 45 W respectively. The RAM can reach up to 32 GB DDR4-2666 DRAM. For higher security, the ECC (Error Checking and Correction) procedure is optionally supported if appropriate memory modules are used. To protect against unauthorized access, the board is equipped with a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) with security and encryption functions that meet the requirements of the TCG (Trusted Computing Group).
The integrated graphics controller Intel UHD630 Graphics allows the simultaneous operation of up to three independent 4k displays. Three DisplayPort/HDMI/DVI outputs and optionally Embedded DisplayPort (eDP)/LVDS are available at the graphic interfaces. The Computer-on-Module features hardware-based video encoding and decoding up to 4k resolution. DirectX12 is also supported, as are Open CL 2.1 and OpenGL 4.5. Industrial interfaces are also provided, including eight PCI Express Gen 3 x1 lanes, a PEG x16 Gen 3 interface, 4 x SATA 6 Gb/s, 4 x USB 3.1/2.0 and 4 x USB 2.0.
The high-end processor boards in the basic form factor can be operated in a temperature range of 0 – 60 °C. The modules support all common Linux operating systems as well as 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 10 IoT.
The scalable MSC C6B-CFLH module family is optionally equipped with Intel Core i7, Core i5, Core i3 or Xeon processors from Intel. Avnet Integrated ensures fifteen years availability from product launch for its new boards with 8th generation Intel Core processors.
