Operating from 5V and drawing only 50mA, the device has been optimized for indoor distance sensing with ranging capabilities from 3 cm up to 3.3m with an output distance resolution of 1mm. Users can easily switch from single-pixel to multi-pixel modes (1, 2 or 4 pixels) to adapt the device to their specific sensing needs. The Evo Mini comes with Arduino & Raspberry Pi sample codes and free ROS nodes. Users can select from USB, UART and I2C clip on, interchangeable, interfaces to connect the sensor to their battery-powered IoT projects.
