The Sentrius IG60-BL654-LTE gateway provides th ability to capture data from Bluetooth 5-enabled sensors, add cloud-managed edge intelligence to the data, and send it to the cloud using Wi-Fi 802.11ac Wave 2 with 2×2 MIMO or LTE wireless connectivity.

The Sentrius IG60-BL654-LTE gateway offers efficient multi-band Cat 1 LTE connectivity with 3G/2G fallback, with required SIM and LTE data allowance activated. The gateway comes in two different variants: one has integrated Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT Greengrass and the other features a Linux build. The AWS IoT Greengrass version has managed IoT security services (such as a pre-configured AWS IoT Greengrass sandbox) and deployment tools. The AWS Greengrass variant lets users deploy applications instantly over-the-air. The AWS IoT core allows data to flow directly to the cloud. The Linux Build variant is a long-term supported, open platform with Laird Connectivity’s Linux Buildroot platform and hardware root of trust. This version is intended for organizations that have embedded Linux experience and need multi-wireless connectivity.

The Sentrius IG60-BL654-LTE gateway is also part of Laird’s IG60-BL654-LTE + BT510 IoT Starter Kit. The starter kit has the AWS variant of the IG60-BL654-LTE gateway and three BT510 Bluetooth 5-enabled sensors. The starter kit allows users to test and develop proof-of-concept IoT solutions for temperature sensing, vibration sensing, door open/close reporting, and proximity sensing.

The Sentrius IG60-BL654-LTE gateway has regulatory approvals for FCC (USA), IC (Canada), CE (Europe), MIC (Japan), and UL. LTE variants to date carry PTCRB, GCF and AT&T certifications.

The IoT gateway was developed for applications such as IIoT, medical IoT, Bluetooth 5 sensor connectivity, and smart buildings.
