Mouser adds Microchip Hello FPGA Kit
The Hello FPGA Kit is intended for prototyping AI and digital signal processing applications. It includes a power monitor GUI to allow the measurement of FPGA core power consumption while running designs. The kit includes the FPGA mainboard, camera sensor board and an LCD board. The FPGA mainboard is based around a SmartFusion2 SoC FPGA that combines an FPGA fabric with a 166-MHz Arm Cortex-M3 MCU subsystem with 256 Kbyte flash, peripherals, instruction cache, and Embedded Trace Macrocell.
The FPGA mainboard also features a Microchip PIC32MX7 MCU to control the SmartFusion2 SoC and monitor power. It also has Arduino and Mikroe mikroBUS connectors for prototyping and expansion. The kit can be used as a standalone unit, or as an extension to existing Microchip kits over the PICkit Header.
