Mouser will distribute Insight SiP turnkey BLE modules globally
The BLE modules are intended for low-power connectivity applications, such as mobile computing, consumer devices, health care, automobiles, industrial and the IoT. The Insight SiP line includes three small Bluetooth modules, the ISP1507, ISP130301 and ISP1302 , as well as supporting evaluation and test boards.
The ISP1507 module is based on the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52 SoC, and has an Arm Cortex-M4 with a full Bluetooth 5-ready stack, IPv6 connectivity and NFC touch-to-pair capabilities. The ISP1507 measures only 8 × 8 × 1 mm and is suitable as an IoT hub, as well as other complex applications that need fast processing.
The ISP130301 BLE module is also based on a Nordic Semiconductor SoC, this time the nRF51 ANT+. It hosts a multiprotocol stack that has a full API for ANT and Bluetooth Smart solutions. This module can operate as an autonomous Bluetooth node, or can be used with an external MCU in more complex systems.
The last of the three Insight SiP modules offered by Mouser is the ISP1302, which is based around Nordic’s nRF51822 SoC. The ISP1302 has an Arm Cortex-M0 CPU, 128 Kbytes of flash memory, and 16 Kbytes of RAM to combine low-power usage with excellent radio performance using an integrated antenna.
