With a bandwidth of up to 500 MHz and a sampling rate of up to 2.5 GS/s on all analog channels, the DLM3000 is particularly suitable for signal analysis when measuring fast switching signals such as in inverter drives. The high sampling rate is combined with a memory depth of 250 megapoints per channel and a high voltage range.

Various option packages for serial bus enabling the analysis of FlexRay, CAN, CAN FD, LIN, SENT, CXPI, UART, I2C and SPI buses, the DLM3000 provides dedicated trigger functions and real-time decoding for the 4-channel models. Up to four different buses with different speeds can be analyzed simultaneously and displayed individually in two zoom windows or as analysis lists. Using the intelligent Auto Setup function for the serial buses, the bit rate and trigger threshold, for example, are automatically detected, enabling the user to make quick and easy settings.

Two- and Four-channel models of the DLM3000 series are available. With the 4-channel MSO variant, an 8-bit logic input is also included as standard. For the measurement of logic signals, the fourth analog channel can be switched to the 8-bit logic input for flexible measurement of analog and digital signals.

The inherent noise of the instrument has been reduced by the new hardware design and the input sensitivity has been set to 0.5 mV/div. With a number of different real-time low-pass filters (8 kHz to 200 MHz), the DLM3000 offers effective interference suppression of superimposed high-frequency signals.

There are many helpful functions for daily measurement tasks. The history memory automatically stores up to 100,000 previously recorded waveforms. The signals can then be displayed individually, superimposed or in a list with a time stamp. A search function makes it possible to search specifically for special events or errors. If the signal is of interest, cursor measurements, calculations or statistical observations of parameter values can be carried out. In addition, two independent zoom windows as well as the automatic display layout allow an ideal viewing of the signals and also the best possible utilization of the vertical resolution.

The DLM3000 can be operated either via the capacitive touch screen or via the familiar control buttons. The form factor was deliberately kept in the proven portrait format in order to ensure working in a confined space and operation from both sides.
