The rugged tablet provides up to six hours of battery life, featuring a high resolution 400 nits TFT LCD display with anti-scratch Gorilla glass and 5-points Projected Capacitive Multi-Touch Panel for best viewing and operating experience. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z670 1.5GHz processor, supports various storage memory (16GB/32GB/ 40GB) mSATA MLC and operates on Microsoft Windows 7 and upcoming Windows 8 platforms, which allows many multimedia applications and features.
Specifically designed for field operations and services in harsh environments and the unrelenting elements of nature, the RTC-700T is IP65-compliant in ingress protection, making it fully resistant to dust and water. It is also MIL-STD-810G compliant from vibration, and four foot drops, with wide operating temperature range from-20C to +60C. Equipped with a G-sensor, light sensor, and GPS navigation, front and rear camera, optional barcode scanner and micro SD card slot, numbers of Window based applications can be used when applied in different scenarios.
Robust connectivity options include 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and 3G. Secure wireless communication for data retrieval, signatures and classified data transmission can be enabled through software means.
