Doller has been on Nantero’s advisory board since 2015 and has more than 30 years of experience in dvanced semiconductor memories, including senior management positions at both Intel and Micron.

“Ed’s extensive industry experience is invaluable to Nantero,” said Greg Schmergel, Co-Founder & CEO of Nantero. “As we work with multiple customers on a range of different products for different market segments, his deep understanding of the customer and application landscape will be critical.”

Doller said: “Nantero’s NRAM has a unique balance of better-than-DRAM price/bit, DRAM-like performance, and nonvolatility, which no other technology offers in one package.  This makes NRAM exciting for a range of markets from enterprise systems to mobile devices, not to mention upcoming applications such as AI, and I am excited to be part of the team bringing this technology to market.”

Doller joined Micron in May 2010 from Numonyx where he served as CTO after its formation in 2008. Prior to Numonyx, Doller had a variety of roles in the flash memory group at Intel, and then was appointed its CTO in 2004. Prior to Intel, he held several key positions at IBM in East Fishkill, New York all in advanced semiconductor memories.
