By
eeNews Europe
The new compiler is tuned to generate optimized Thumb-2 code for modern Cortex-A and Cortex-M devices. It has been derived from Clang and it uses modern and flexible compiler design on the front end, and a back end optimized by SEGGER for performance and code size. It outperforms both GCC and regular Clang on most benchmarks, reducing generated code size and increasing execution speed.
