New development boards will ruffle some feathers

Standard pin-outs on developments boards are a great help for the developers. If you choose for a Raspberry Pi board, you know how to connect new boards, if you have an Arduino Uno, you know how the shield to connect…but, wait, now we have Feather boards. Adafruit and also Sparkfun are now standardising on the pin-out of the feather standard pin configuration (developed by Adafruit. This new pin-out is gaining weight and importance and the question will not be so much if it is an Arduino, a Raspberry Pi, but more; will this Espressif board ‘ruffle some feathers’?
