New pin electronics ATE IC is faster, smaller and lower power
Mt. Mystery has been designed to provide faster, higher density and lower power ATE solutions for modern processor, SOC, FPGA, and memory technologies.
The Mystery is a highly integrated SoC solution that features a complete set of analog functions, which are supported by the digital circuitry necessary for the creation of 8 independent pin channels for Automated Test Equipment. Each channel can be configured through a 50MHz SPI interface.
Real-time data is programmed and read back through high-speed FLEX I/O pins that can be configured to interface directly to other devices using multiple single-ended and differential logic families.
The 50% speed increase allows the testing of modern technologies and the 67% reduced power triples the number of pins/devices under test without an increase to the power budget. The 75% size reduction quadruples the number of pins under test without expanding the overall PCB size measured against a current architecture. The combination of higher performance, lower power, and higher density also provides a lower overall solution cost.
