New range of all-in-one medical computers
The MLC 8 medical computers come with a choice of 21.5, 23.8- and 27-inch displays. They are based on Intel Core processors with high computing power and good graphics. The computers are fabricated from completely sealed aluminium and are easy-to-clean with touch control buttons on the edge-to-edge protective glass.
The range offers extensive I/O flexibility and has two high-resolution DisplayPort outputs for connecting external monitors. 4 internal slots are available for additional storage media, frame grabbers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and RFID modules and PCI Express expansion cards. A UPS backup battery is also available as an option.
The devices in the series have permanently installed galvanically isolated network connections, with an option for further protection in the form of galvanically isolated USB and serial interfaces for connection to external non-medical devices. Compliant with 2x MOPP, the MLC 8 series is classified as class I medical device under the MDD and meets the comprehensive requirements of the current standards IEC / EN-60601-1 (edition 3.1) and IEC / EN-60601-1-2 (4th edition).
