New solution makes finding a parking spot simple
The Q-Free’s ParQSense Smart Parking Sensor uses the Silicon Labs’ Wonder Gecko wireless MCU for control and Sub-GHz connectivity. The Q-Free solution was deployed as a pilot this year in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and North America, and will be commercially released on Sept. 17th.
The ParQSense Smart Parking Sensor is one of Q-Free’s first sensor products to support outdoor parking needs. It uses dual radar and magnetic field technology to sense with 99+ percent accuracy whether a parking space is available. The application then transmits data to centralised base stations using narrowband sub-GHz wireless connectivity.
