New touch panel computer is optimised for automation
The new system is a more streamlined version of the 10.1-inch touchscreen PCs launched by the company last year. The new touch panel computer is the first HMI system in the C-Series.
The C-Series, which also includes box PCs, is suitable for use in 80 percent of standard automation applications. The new HMI system is optimized in terms of cost and technology for standard automation applications with Syslogic leaving out everything not necessary for 80 percent of standard automation applications.
The new C-Series HMI system has a 10.1-inch widescreen display with an IP65 front. The Projected Capacitive Touch (PCT) technology makes the panel PC intuitive to use and supports multi-touch. The device is passively cooled. It uses Intel Atom processors from the ApolloLake series (x7-E3950 or x5-E3930) and is durable and rugged for 24/7 operation.
