NTC thermistors enable accurate temperature measurement
The STC0134-X, STC0138-X, STC0143, and STC0144-X series, recently acquired from RTI Electronics, deliver highly repeatable performance for temperature monitoring and compensation. Available in a variety of sizes, the devices provide high-stability replacement for leaded small-disc thermistors, the new series offer very low drift from their initial electric values. For increased reliability in demanding applications, the thermistor chips are also available with gold-plated electrodes. The components feature resistance at 25 °C from 100 Ω to 5000 Ω, tolerance down to ± 5%, and beta from 3,000 K to 3,523 K. They are suitable for solder reflow assembly or gluing with epoxy.
These thermistors are available now through Dexter Magnetic Technologies and Sager Electronics.
