Nvidia CES 2026 announcements: Rubin, robots, cars, gaming
Nvidia dumped a whole CES week’s worth of news into a single day (5 January 2026), spanning data centre roadmaps, “AI factory” plumbing, robotics, autonomous driving and consumer RTX updates. Nvidia CES 2026 announcements: the unifying theme

Nvidia also used CES to push “deskside AI supercomputing” harder, arguing that a meaningful slice of model work (fine-tuning, evaluation, RAG, prototyping and some inference) can move closer to developers and smaller teams. The headline numbers it used: up to 100-billion-parameter models on DGX Spark, and up to 1-trillion-parameter models on DGX Station — both positioned as Grace Blackwell-based systems. Automotive and autonomy: DRIVE Hyperion expands, plus “reasoning” AV models
On the vehicle side, Nvidia expanded the stated DRIVE Hyperion ecosystem to include more tier-1s, integrators and sensor partners, and it reiterated Hyperion as a “robotaxi-ready” level-4 reference architecture built around DRIVE AGX Thor compute and a qualified sensor stack. Gaming and creator-side RTX updates
Nvidia also pushed a CES gaming/creator bundle: DLSS 4.5 (with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and a “6X” mode), plus G-SYNC Pulsar monitor claims, plus more explicit messaging that RTX GPUs are becoming local inference accelerators for creator tools.
