The SMC-NTEK1 takes full advantage of the NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, combining an integrated NVIDIA Kepler parallel computing GPU with 192 CUDA cores and a quad-core ARM® Cortex-A15 CPU without being forced to compromise on I/O, on space or be tied to limited scalability options.
It is compliant to the SGET SMARC open-standard, it comes with 314 electrical I/O, providing more options for different types of video and graphics outputs, serial interfaces, camera interfaces, and support for standard flash-memory card format. The unit comes equipped with all the features and capabilities you would expect to find around this processor such as, up to 2GB of DDR3L, or up to 64GB of e-MMC.
The SMC NTEK1 also provides the highest level of embedded security complementing the native ARM trust zone security with a FIPS 140-2 trusted platform module and cryptographic authentication. What’s more, the 82x50mm card integrates a set of environmental (temp, humidity and pressure) and motion sensors. The design by CALAO Systems and the MXM3 connector ensure rugged reliability for harsh environments with high degree of signals integrity, shock- and vibration durability, and a temperature range from −25°C to 85°C.
