NXP and Digi-Key co-operate on production-volume supplies

Pierre Laboisse, Senior Vice President at NXP Semiconductors, comments, “We see tremendous value in Digi-Key’s hybrid model as a means of reaching a more diverse production audience.” As trends in distribution have necessitated on-demand resources, as well as greater speed and flexibility in the supply chain, NXP saw value in positioning Digi-Key as a key partner in accelerating global growth.
Mark Zack, Vice President, Global Semiconductor Product at Digi-Key, confirms the intention to, “…enable component suppliers such as NXP to offer a more complete, ‘Prototype to Production,’ supply-chain solution.”
