NXP launches 2×2 Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth solutions
NXP’s new 2×2 Wi-Fi 6 solutions have been developed for applications that require high-performance Wi-Fi with low-latency over wireless networks. The IW62X devices also provide the high-bandwidth and low-latency connectivity needed for full 4k / 60 fps gameplay in gaming applications.

The new family of 2×2 Wi-Fi 6 Dual Band + Bluetooth solutions boost speed, and provide a 4x increase in network capacity and a 2x increase in bandwidth over previous Wi-Fi generations. The increased capacity and reduced latency allows the connection of a higher numbers of users and devices to a network or gateway.
The BT/BLE radios found in the new family of devices offer support for Bluetooth/BLE standards (BLE LR/2Mbps, BLE AoA/AoD, BLE Mesh), independent Bluetooth connections and operational modes with multiple external devices. The IW62X range offers a high level of integration, with 2.4 and 5 GHz dual band Power Amplifiers (PAs), Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs) antenna switches. The devoces also features a power management unit that reduces BOM and device board area, while simplifying chip-on-board and integrated-module designs.
