OKdo distributes Google’s machine learning SBC family
Coral is a family of SBCs and peripherals similar to Raspberry Pi but optimized for machine learning applications. Coral includes Google’s Mendel OS which works with TensorFlow Lite and includes an Edge Tensor Processor Unit module. The boards support both Python and C++ programming languages and are compatible with Raspberry Pi, OKdo said.
The resources include:
Coral Devboard: when loaded with Edge TPU capable of 4TOPS.
Coral System-on-Module features NXP’s ARM-based system chip plus RAM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth resources.
Coral USB accelerator
Coral 5Mpixel camera
Coral sensor board includes light level, barometric pressure, temperature and humidity
Coral PCIe board
The devboard is priced at £121.73 and the SoM at £93.64, according to the OKdo website. Peripherals are between £14 and £25.
