The AX5043 narrow-band, ultra-low power RF transceiver offers a combination of ultra-low power consumption for transmit and receive operations along with high sensitivity and high selectivity. Its programmable radio architecture supports multiple wireless communication standards and protocols; designers can implement proprietary protocols.

The AX8052Fxx family of RF-microcontrollers is designed to enable one-chip radio solutions for all levels of complexity. The AX8052F143 provides an ultra-low power single chip solution with flexibility appropriate for the IoT market and is also compatible with the WM-BUS, POCSAG and FLEX standards, while the AX8052F151 is a solution for sub-1 GHz ZigBee and 6LoWPAN.

The AX-Sigfox and AX-Sigfox-API are one-chip solutions for a node on the Sigfox network, which uses ultra-narrow-band radio technology to send small quantities of data. The AX-Sigfox device is fully programmed for immediate operation while the AX-Sigfox-API chip allows the user to add additional software.

Development tools enable implementation of wireless communications solutions. The DVK-2 and F143_Mini_DVK kits are supported by a suite of software tools consisting of code generators for full RF application C-code and an integrated development environment with source code debugger and free C-compiler.

ON Semiconductor offers a range of low power, fully integrated system-on-chip (SoC) solutions to support the implementation of wireless networks with a minimal number of components. One such example is the NCS36510 2.4 GHz RF transceiver which integrates RAM and FLASH memory for data and program storage respectively. The company supports industry protocols and standards including: SigFox, KNX, EnOcean, ZigBee Smart Energy, ZigBee Stacks, WirelessHart, 6LoWPAN, and Thread.
