The BD5291G and BD5291FVE provide a common-mode rejection ratio of 70dB, compared to only 45dB with comparable devices – Rohm claims – making it possible to provide high-accuracy signal amplification.

Both parts utilize proprietary analog process technology, enabling input/output full-swing operation at 1.7V compared with 1.8V in comparable devices, Rohm said. For both the input bias current is 1pA typical.

The difference between the parts is that the BD5291G comes in an SSOP5 package and the BD5291FVE comes in a VSOF5 package. The parts cost $0.16 and $0.27 each respectively in 3000 piece volumes. Samples are available now with volume supply 14 weeks after receipt of order.
