The DT9826 features 4, 8, or 16 simultaneous inputs (each with its private single-ended ADC) with sampling rates up to 41.6 kSps. Data can be acquired from a single analog input channel or from a group of analog input channels using the analog input channel list. Anti-aliasing filters are not required since the ADCs are implemented as sigma-delta converters which inherently prevents higher bandwidth error signals.

In addition to the analog inputs, the DT9826 has 16 digital input/output line, two counters / timers and a tachometer channel, all on a single plug-and-play device. The module is available either as a board-level OEM version for embedded test applications or installed in a metal BNC connection box for easy sensor connections. Despite its (up to) 16 ADC, the module is powered through a single USB connection.
