Partnership simplifies AI deployment across edge and cloud
Advantech and mimik have announced a strategic partnership to make AI systems easier to deploy, manage, and scale across cloud platforms and a wide range of edge devices from cameras to industrial servers.
Today, many organisations struggle to implement AI due to high infrastructure costs, compatibility issues, security concerns, and system fragmentation. The partners aim to solve these challenges by combining Advantech’s comprehensive range of Edge AI hardware with what Mimix calls “agentix-native” software systems for edge-based AI workflow automation.
At the heart of this collaboration is the “agentix-native” platform, which enables devices to discover and work together automatically without manual setup. Once connected, devices instantly become operational, no matter the hardware, operating system, or AI model in use. The platform enables businesses to run AI applications more flexibly, securely, and cost-effectively without the need to rebuild their systems every time a new device or AI model is introduced.
