Peregrine 10 kHz to 6 GHz dual differential SPDT switch available from Richardson
The PE42920 DDSPDT RF switch is a broadband (10 kHz to 6 GHz) and low loss device that enables the switching of two independent differential signals. This device consumes less power than active differential switches. It has high isolation between same-channel inputs, as well as opposite active channels. The RF switch has been designed for low phase mismatch between matched paths.
The PE42920 is Peregrine’s first DDSPDT RF switch based on UltraCMOS® technology, a patented variation of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology on a sapphire substrate, offering the performance of GaAs with the economy and integration of conventional CMOS. The switch is offered in a 16-lead 3 mm x 3 mm QFN package. It is primarily targeted at test and measurement applications.
According to Peregrine, additional key features of the PE42920 include: low frequency insertion loss: 0.7 dB typical, high isolation between same channels at 6 GHz of 26 dB typical, high isolation between opposite active channels at 6 GHz of 30 dB typical, low phase mismatch between matched paths at 6 GHz of 15 degrees typical, and 2 kV HBM ESD performance.
