The evaluation module (EVM) features the DLP2000 chipset comprised of the DLP2000 .2 nHD DMD with a 640×360 resolution, the DLPC2607 display controller and the DLPA1000 PMIC/LED driver. The EVM comes equipped with a production ready optical engine and processor interface supporting 8/16/24-bit RGB parallel video interface in a 76x54mm footprint.
The plug and play DLP nHD optical engine supports up to 30 lumens. The DLP2000 chipset and $99 EVM open the door for developers to incorporate high-performing DLP display technology with virtually any low-cost processor such as the BeagleBone Black. It operates with an external 5V, 3A power supply.
