UK design house Versinetic is launching ISO15118 standard hardware and EV charger load management software for white label OEM designs.
The Versinetic Remora power line communication (PLC) module is designed to meet ISO 15118-3 and DIN SPEC 70121 standards in EV charging applications while the BalanSea software which redefines charger-to-charger load management. An enhanced version of the Versinetic White Label Installer App significantly improves the installation of EV charge points.
The Remora PLC Module supports the HomePlug Green PHY (HPGP) (PLC) module is tailored for EV charging applications. Firmware updates via an RJ45 Ethernet port make it a particularly accessible product, offering a straightforward path to integrate ISO 15118 and DIN SPEC 7012 communications into Versinetic’s charging platforms.

BalanSea is designed with EV charge point installers in mind and exclusively for Versinetic EV charger hardware. The intelligent charger-to-charger load management takes the complexity out of installs and makes it easy to manage groups of chargers. The lightweight software stack offers seamless on-site charging load management for various installations, including domestic, fleet, and commercial vehicles, without the need for additional hardware or software.
Installing EV chargers can be complex and time-consuming and is regarded as a key bottleneck in the rollout of charging infrastructure. The manual input of charger information and complicated interfaces can often cause mistakes, leading to poorly installed chargers and costly re-visits.
The app’s enhanced UI in the white label installer app provides comprehensive screens, and instructional videos, which significantly improve the user experience for installers. This app is compatible with both iOS and Android and offers multiple options for full customisation to match a company’s branding.
The app also streamlines the process of locating chargers by scanning Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet for nearby chargers. Previous charger commissioning settings can be copied to subsequent charger installations to accelerate the installation process.
“Versinetic’s solutions underline its ongoing commitment to furthering innovation and enhancing the installer experience in the EV charging infrastructure industry. Cutting edge charging technology is a key element in making EV mobilisation more accessible to the mass market and it’s exciting for Versinetic to be at its forefront, ensuring that EV charge point manufacturers and installers have flexible and versatile solutions to meet their needs,” said Dunstan Power, Managing Director at Versinetic.
