Point-to-point broadband for mission-critical communications
Encompassing unlicensed and licensed frequency bands, PTP 700 is a best-in-class platform for deployment flexibility and sustainability. The PTP 700 lowers the total cost of ownership while supporting a wide breadth of missions, including situational awareness, video surveillance, border security, base modernization, test range communications, first responder rapid deployments and tactical military operations, all with a single radio.
The PTP 700 is available as a Connectorized Radio or Connectorized+Integrated Radio, which allows for antenna selection at time of deployment. In a future software release, the PTP 700 will support high-capacity multipoint to further extend mission capabilities.
It operates over 4.4 GHz to 5.9 GHz in a single radio with a throughput of up to 450 Mbps and a range of up to 124 miles (200 kilometers). Line of sight and non-line of sight capable, the PTP 700 features a point-to-point configuration but is extendable to a high-capacity point-to-multipoint architecture. It meets the following industry standards: FIPS 140-2, MIL-STD-810G, IPv6, and 1588v2 / SyncE (LTE-ready).
"In the federal, public safety and industrial space, network operators require high-performance equipment that can be deployed in any scenario. Their work and often, our safety, depend on our technology. Our heritage in mission-critical communications has given us strong expertise in efficiently, economically and securely transmitting information over any environment for any purpose. We are pleased to further raise the industry standard in critical communications with the PTP 700," said Atul Bhatnagar, president and CEO, Cambium Networks.
