Polytec joins ASAM to drive standardization of data interfaces
Polytec’s systems for optical measurement of vibrations provide input data for tuning NVH finite element models. A standardized interface allows this data to be received and processed by all evaluation systems that operate according to the ASAM ODS standard. But the data exchange also works in the opposite direction. The exchange of geometry data for defining a modal test for example is now much easier with Polytec’s Scanning Vibrometer (PSV).
Interfaces meeting the ODS standard are currently being integrated into Polytec’s measurement systems and will soon be available with new PSV software versions. Polytec closes the gap between CAE and test still further with its integration of the ASAM ODS standard. As a result, the acquisition and processing of data becomes much easier to handle.
