With its low interference level, the TU425 facilitates the integration into all kinds of test and measurement equipment, enabling developers to focus on their actual measurement circuit, instead of having to isolate this circuit from the internal power supply and its associated noixe level. Thanks to the high standby reserve power, even complex measurement circuits can be supplied. Typical applications are oscilloscopes, analysers, test boards or chromatography equipment as well industrial process control systems.

Electrolytic capacitors with an operational life expectancy of seven years enable a mean time between failures (MTBF) of 350.000 operation hours. The operation temperature range is specified for -10°C to 70°C at an energy efficiency of better than 90%. The power supply starts up at temperatures as low as -40°C.

With dimensions of 7.62 x 15.75 x 4.11 cm, the power supply can be integrated into 1 U plug-in units. The product accepts an input voltage across a wide range from 90 to 264 VAC; output voltages of 12V, 18V, 24V, 48V and 56V are available. In fan-cooled operation, the TU425 delivers 425 watts at its output; in convection cooling mode the maximum output is 300 watt.

Other features include pilot lights for input and output voltages, a separate auxiliary voltage output of 12V/1A for the fan and a particularly powerful standby output delivering 5V/2A.
