The set comprises a collection of protective devices that are harmonized and coordinated with one another. The new type 1 lightning current arrester is the basic component, which also fulfills the requirements placed on type 2 surge arresters. Three device protection connectors protect the power connectors of end devices. Two of these connectors have an additional signal cable connection, which allows a TV/SAT and a telecommunication terminal device to be protected.
