Precision and long-term stability for e-mobility and robotics
For application fields like electromobility, robotics, precision measuring equipment, Japanese company Susumu Co, Ltd, a global technology leader in passive components, has developed the RGV series of precision resistors.
The metal thin-film chip resistors of the RGV family cover the resistance range from 120 kΩ to 3 MΩ (versions for 0.25 watts) and 120 kΩ to 4.3 MΩ (versions for 0.33 watts), respectively. They are suitable for high-voltage applications with a maximum of 700 volts and 1000 volts, respectively. The inorganic passivation ensures excellent long-term stability. The high precision of these resistors is illustrated by their extremely narrow tolerance of only ±0.1 %. Their extremely low temperature coefficient of ±25 ppm/°C shows that the resistance value is practically independent of the ambient temperature. Their wide operating temperature range of -55°C to 155°C qualifies the RGV resistors for use even in harsh environments. For use in the automotive environment, the RGV series resistors are of course certified to the AEC-Q200 standard.
The sum of these features makes the RGV family chip resistors perfect for use in electric vehicle powertrain and battery management systems, industrial and robotics applications, measurement instruments and high-voltage equipment.
