Promwad unveils turn-key electronic solutions based on TI’s products
The company’s engineers have developed new embedded systems and devices on a turn-key basis. The SDR Platform is a universal platform with open architecture for dynamic design of wireless communication systems based on SDR technology (software-defined radio system). Various communication standards can be supported: 802.11, 802.16, GSM, WCDMA, TETRA, APCO, ZigBee, WiMAX, Bluetooth, OFDM, ISM 2.4, LTE, SISO and MIMO, RFID, DVB, and DRM. This device is based on the TI’s 4-core processor of TMS320C6674 (1.25 GHz).
AM1808 Platform is a multi-functional small-size single board computer with open architecture for design of industrially implemented built-in systems. The device is based on the AM1808 processor of Texas Instruments and OS Linux. Its key advantages: the onboard battery management, electronic parts with operation temperature range from −40 to +85 °C and a wide array of interfaces (Ethernet, USB 2.0, miniUSB, Wi-Fi, LCD, and miniSD).
GLONASS/GPS-device is an automotive navigation system with a 5-inch sensor screen, the TI’s AM3517 processor and OS Android. Due to the 3G technology support, it allows planning the best route, taking into account the current road traffic. Additional function is hands-free mobile communications. Simultaneous operation of two global navigation systems GLONASS and GPS decreases the number of “dead” zones and facilitates navigation in urban areas with high-rise buildings. Promwad developed hardware and software platforms for the device as well as plastic enclosure.
