The Mercury T2C joins the Teledyne LeCroy USB Voyager M310C, which together provide the USB development community with extensive levels of capability for test, validation and compliance of the emerging USB standards. The USB Type-C and USB Power Delivery 2.0 standards introduce USB cables and connectors expected to improve user experience. USB Type-C provides a smaller sized, reversible connector and is also capable of supporting scalable, bi-directional power charging at up to 100 W.

The Mercury T2C is the industry’s smallest and most affordable hardware-based USB protocol analyzer. The pocket-sized Mercury T2C supports the USB Type-C and Power Delivery 2.0 standards, including capture and decoding of all packets over the new USB Type-C Configuration Channel (CC). These new CC packets include negotiation of USB current capabilities and entrance to / exit from Alternate Modes. The Mercury T2C analyzer includes adapters allowing users to utilize the Mercury T2C with their existing devices and hosts, creating an analyzer which is both backward-compatible and future-safe. Applying Teledyne LeCroy’s extensive experience in USB, users will benefit from the familiar and easy-to-use CATC Trace display.

The Mercury T2C is a low cost USB Type-C and Power Delivery protocol analyzer available in several configurations designed to fit customer’s specific needs and budget. Currently available and starting at $995, the Mercury T2C complements the extensive line up of Teledyne LeCroy’s USB Analyzers.
