
The companies will establish a Customer Experience Center in France which will bring forward projects focusing on economic, commercial and technological challenges currently associated with electric driving. GE Energy’s Industrial Solutions division will provide the infrastructure elements necessary to implement the project, in particular charging stations and the related data networks. In addition, both companies will implement a joint offering to PSA customers which will include an electric vehicle along with the associated charging infrastructure.
When the partners signed the cooperation agreement they also announced that GE will buy about 1000 electric cars from PSA through 2015. These cars will be deployed throughout Europe.
