PV success could hinge on legislation
The study, conducted by the European Photovoltaic Industry Association but with the support of strategic consulting firm A. T. Kearney, looked at five markets; France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK, and is claimed to shine new light on the evolution of Europe’s energy mix and the role of photovoltaics.
The report will be presented during the co-located 8th European PV Industry Summit, on the 5th September, at which time it will also be available for download from EPIA website (www.epia.org). A new event, to be held one day after the summit, will be dedicated to interactive sessions between the PV industry and the financial community, covering issues such as financing new PV business models.
