Qeexo, STMicroelectronics deepen collaboration
Currently, ST provides FingerTip multi-touch screen-control and MEMS sensor products for Qeexo’s FingerSense platform. Qeexo claims the FingerSense platform is the world’s first software-only solution that can distinguish between touch-screen inputs such as fingertip, knuckle, nail, and stylus.
ST products provide the external data that is processed by FingerSense’s machine learning software. These integrated products include ST’s ultra-low power and high-accuracy 3-axis digital MEMs accelerometers and a 6-axis inertial module containing a 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope. The two companies said they will look to develop new solutions together to further enhance the consumer mobile experience.
