In parallel to the ARM starter kits, an integrated Linux operating system image that enables users to immediately start their evaluation activities has been released. Other operating systems such as Android, Yocto Linux and Ubunto are available for several application environments as well and are verified for download. The source code of these operating systems is freely available to users to simplify application development. All these add-on software offerings are completely certified and available free of cost.

Besides support at the O/S level and software tools, the ARM starter kits include support services such as a design-in service with referenced PCB layout, layout and circuit schematic review, operating instructions, individualization and manufacturing services.
