Mercury’s HM Series can reduce the electromagnetic exposure of the system by up to 12dB without the need for additional components. The standard oscillators scheduled during design-in can be easily replaced by the low EMI version, thus eliminating the need for a complicated and expensive re-design, which is usually necessary.
New in the series of Mercury oscillators with especially low EMI is the 3HM53R, which is available in the small 5.0×3.2mm package. Mercury’s low EMI oscillators are widely used, for example, in aircraft seat audio systems and medical equipment where EMI approval testing is an essential part of the qualification process. The products are available in distribution from WDI AG, Wedel (Germany).
