
QuickLogic partnering with Intel Foundry to use 18A process

Fabless FPGA vendor FPGA fabric licensor QuickLogic Corp. (San Jose, Calif.) has said it will partner with Intel Foundry and license embedded FPGA fabric IP on the Intel 18A manufacturing process.
QuickLogic is joining the Intel Foundry Accelerator Alliance and has joined USMAG – the US Military, Aerospace, Government Alliance.
QuickLogic said it will use its proprietary Australis IP generator to deliver customer-definable eFPGA Hard IP cores optimized for the Intel 18A process. Australis provides numerous customizations including LUT densities, block RAM configurations, embedded DSP block configurations, as well as support for a variety of operating environments.
