Qubix Robotics help students to tune into design and electronics development with their Educational Radio Kit

Qubix Robotics left a huge impression at a recent Malawi Parliamentary committee on Education, Science and Technology meeting! They presented their eco-friendly Educational Radio Kit that was jointly developed with the MoE, Directorate of Science, Technology and Innovation from the Ministry of Education – Malawi Government.

‘Our Educational Radio Kits are not just FM radios – they are much more than that! They are specially designed for kids or primary school learners to disassemble and re-assemble while they learn about electronics. Students get hands-on experience in #electronics, #3Dprinting, #cncmachining and #sustainability, thus leaving a remarkable impact on them’, explains Sanga Kanthema, CEO of Qubix Robotics. ‘Our aim is to have digital fabrication education being taught in every school in Malawi so that students can start producing market-ready products beyond mere prototypes. Soon we will also begin the fabrication of other educational gadgets like tablets and portable computers.’

Watch an earlier interview with Sanga Kanthema. He is a young entrepreneur from Malawi and he explains how investments and contacts will be key in driving new innovations and the 4th Industrial Revolution.
