The new technologies will complement Rambus’s NVDIMM portfolio and high-bandwidth, low-power memory technologies. Rambus’ intends to use these technologies to provide a foundation for integrating existing DRAM and Flash along with emerging memories into advanced hybrid memory systems.
Over the last decade, Diablo Technologies has pioneered NVDIMM technologies for high-speed, low-power, and low-latency bridging and switching products. The company’s memory buffer and software solutions used an all-Flash memory sub-system to revolutionise data centre performance and economics.
