The 24mm x 37mm x 9.5mm device is factory-calibrated over the -40C to +85C industrial temperature range. The IMU383ZA features a fault-tolerant sensor architecture for improved reliability and has an SPI bus for board-to-board communications. Other new features include advanced synchronization and a bootloader for field upgradeability.
The IMU383ZA triple-redundant sensor architecture is comprised of three independent, 3-Axis Accelerometer and 3-Axis Gyros. The triple-redundant sensor array in the IMU383ZA uses ACEINNA’s proprietary voting scheme to utilize only valid sensor data. Defective sensor outputs or errant datasets are ignored or de-rated in importance.
