Renesas adds 38 new MCUs to the RX130 series
The additional MCUs are intended to provide higher performance options and more compatibility with the company’s RX231/RX230 touch MCUs. The RX130 MCUs are ultra-low-power and feature high responsiveness for touch-based applications that need 3V or 5V system control with low-power usage.
The series has new touch IP to improve sensitivity, noise immunity and robustness and supports self-capacity and mutual-capacity. The touch sensor is also improved to operate better in wet and dirty conditions, allowing developers to provide touch control to non-traditional materials, such as wood, glass or acrylic.
RX130 MCUs are compliant with IEC/UL60730 for consumer electronics and have built-in functional safety hardware elements.
