
Renesas and Altair collaborate on cellular IoT
The partnership will combine their solutions to provide greater efficiencies and a faster time to market for customers. The solutions will be sold through Renesas’ sales channels.
To begin, Renesas and Altair will look to develop cellular IoT solutions with CAT-M and NB-IoT dual-mode chipsets and technologies. The two companies will also design development tools and software to further streamline the adoption of cellular IoT solutions. This partnership aims to achieve technical leadership in size reduction, power consumption, and IoT security.
