RF power amplifiers deliver high gain and efficiency
The amplifiers feature low-loss, ground-signal-ground (GSG) RF transitions designed to interface with a coplanar waveguide multilayer PC circuit board for superior grounding. The packaging enables the amplifiers to serve on either side of a PCB board, which facilitates a greater variety of component layout alternatives.
The 3.2 W, 35 dBm TGA2501-GSG RF power amplifier delivers covers 6 to 18 GHz with 26 dB small-signal gain, 19 dB large-signal gain, 23% efficiency, 8V/1.2A DC bias, and integrated DC blocking capacitors. It comes in a 14-pin 11.38 x 17.32 mm flange package.
The 5.5 W, 37.4 dBm TGA2536-FL RF power amplifier covers 13.5 to 16 GHz with 25 dB small-signal gain, 19 dB large-signal gain, 20% efficiency, 8V/2.6A DC bias, and integrated DC blocking capacitors. It comes in a 14-pin 11.38 x 17.32 mm flange package.
The 14 W, 41.6 dBm TGA2517-GSG RF power amplifier covers 7.5 to 11.5 GHz with 30 dB small-signal gain, 22 dB large-signal gain, 25% efficiency, 12V/3A DC bias, and integrated DC blocking capacitors. It comes in a 14-pin 11.38 x 17.32 mm flange package.
Samples and evaluation fixtures are available for all three of these amplifiers.
