Compatible with commercial EPC C1G2 compliant readers, the Hydro tags can be probed for humidity data, each tag has a unique 96-bits EPC number, a 32-bit TID and a password protected Kill command. Built in a PCB format, the tags are available in different sizes, with a read range up to 1.5 meters, for operation in a temperatures range from -30 to +85°C. Hydro tags can be embedded in different materials and read wirelessly from the outside for effective moisture level monitoring. Applications include irrigation automation (activating irrigation just in the areas that would be too dry) or the detection of liquids in areas or items that should be completely dry.
