Two right-angled THT soldering tabs attached halfway up the sides of the housing, together with two metal snap-in clips on the sides at the solder connection cover ensure particularly sturdy anchoring on the board. These USB 3.0 receptacles, which are downward compatible with USB 2.0, are equipped with nine contacts: four for USB 2.0 plus five for USB 3.0. These female connectors are supplied in tape & reel packaging and are also available in halogen-free versions.
